If you install to anything other than the default location, you get this error on activation. Let it install to the default location, get it activated, then you can move the .exe and .ttf files to wherever you want. You will have to re-point any shortcuts to MSReader to the new location.

! I ended up getting Mobipocket Reader because I couldn't get MS Reader activated. No regret, though

MS Reader is a ebook reader software that reads .lit format ebooks. There are a PC/Tablet PC version and a PPC version. MS Reader used to be included in the ROM so most people who owned previous PPC know it. It is free and can be downloaded from
MS Reader's site.
