Several years ago I taught computer classes in the corporate sector. The very first thing I did in class was have people rapidly and randomly pound on the keyboard to prove to them they couldn't accidentally cause their screen to blow up. I told them, "In order to really mess things up, you have to know what you're doing."

Oh, I don't know about that. My wife of many years hasn't actually damanged any hardware, but she sure has screwed up a LOT of software over the years! (And yes, she'll admit that, although now she has her own website and is getting to be quite a web denizen in her own right!)
