I would look at the connection settings to see what rules it's using, (Tools, options, Rules, conflict resolution) if it's a matter of conflicting data or such (which shouldnt be for a hard reset) it may help... as for why it would do it after a fresh reset... i dunno. Did you have to make a new partnership for activesync, a standard partnership instead of a guest?
