eve6grl02 (and anyone else reading this);
Hmm. . .
I am sorry. I don't think I made myself clear.
If I go to the /windows/help folder there are the help files. And I can 'run' them to view help.
However the icon in the start menu (the one that looks like a circle with a Question mark) is missing. I've gone through the Settings Menu selection function to see if it was something I could check (if unchecked). But no.
I've also tried adding a short cut (.lnk) help file to the start menu folder in the windows directory (/windows/start Menu). The Link is there but doesn't show up on the Start menu.
Right now I can't even find the Help program(?, dll?) I've had to associate hlp files to the help of one of my game's Help file. As a result, that programs help becomes the first Help file seen and then I can choose 'show all installed help' to get to the help file I’m looking for.
Bottom line: I want the help icon on my start menu where it belongs (w/out doing a hard reset preferable) and I want it to automatically pull up the help file for the program I’m currently using.
Am I insane or just the only one stupid enough to mess this up?
