Yes I agree with you. Since the screen is the same resolution as the X30 which I used to own, I will say that Cleartype is complete crap on the QVGA screens. It was horrible on my iPaq 2215, my iPaq 4155, my Axim X30 etc.. On the X50v however, cleartype is very VERY nice. The blur is hardly there, but the softer edges of the text is very nice. I wouldn't bother with Cleartype on any PDA other than VGA enabled PDAs.
