It is not a Dell PC, and it is relatively new (rebuilt from scratch about 1 year ago with brand new parts), but I think you may be on to something. I tried another machine at word before coming home and had no problems whatsoever. I'm planning on WiFi-ing the home setup anyway, so this will hopefully become a moot point. Thanks for all the help...y'all should get paid for this (considering it is better than what CS usually provides).
