Thanks guys! I tried out that symbol, and it does do more or less what I want. It's not as good as how Documents to Go works, but it is more or less useable.

I'm really torn as to what to do. Windows Mobile has a clunky interface, and of the two HP units I played with today, one locked hard, and the other couldn't kill or switch to the calender app. The T5 meanwhile has only JOT/Graffiti 2 which I *HATE*, seems to have a humming screen, buttons that require a press of several seconds to turn on the unit, and has no voice recorder. Wish I could design my own PDA...
