Aha. Well, everybody's entitled to his or her opinion.

Just a few random thoughts:

1. How much did you pay for your Pocket PC? About five to ten times the amount of the price of TextMaker. So, are PPCs a rip-off as well?

2. For $69.95, you get a full word processor for Pocket PCs AND for Windows. Last time I checked, Microsoft Word was several times the price.

3. I just bought a copy of Excel XP. Mind you, it was just the UPGRADE, not a full version, and still the price was US$120. This is just for the Windows version, there is no Excel for Pocket PCs.

That's the thing I don't understand: Just because your Pocket PC has a small form factor, why do you think that (a) software should be priced at only a fraction of the price for Windows software, and (b) that software development for Pocket PCs is any cheaper or less work-intensive than for Windows software? In fact, developing for Pocket PCs is MUCH HARDER than writing for Windows. Haven't you ever wondered why no big corporation does Pocket PC software?
