Mobility Site - View Single Post - Can only connect if my USB ActiveSync is connected

I had a problem getting my wireless card to work on my X5 (card is a 802.11b linksys) and I followed a step by step posted here (I downloaded the WLAN-WINCE-40.zip and was able to connect, however when I disconnect the USB and ActiveSync goes off I can't connect anymore. Is there anything that I'm doing wrong?
Help please!!
