Well, I cannot imagine how long it would take to get this machine back to how it was if i had to manually do everything all over. I have a lot of tweaks I don't want lost also.

Just remember that should you encounter any software related problem that not every X50 user has it could easily be related to the fact that you restored an older backup and will have to try hard-resetting and re-installing everything manually anyway.
