I have both a 4 GB microdrive and a 1 GB SD card in my X50v and love it. I can put full length movies and tons of music on there. Surprisingly, the microdrive doesn't shorten battery as much as one would think (maybe 10-30 minutes?) - primarily because it only spins when accessed and because BetaPlayer can be setup with big 16 MB buffer which will buffer 2-3 mins of video.
