I suspect it is the fault of your "mesage bible" being badly encoded rather than Reader's fault. Can you open the book on your PC? Perhaps you'd be better off dumping out the HTML code using Convert LIT and then using a proper reader like µbook to read it on the PC. µbook will navigate such files inside ZIP or RAR archives just as though they were uncompressed, and it's far tastier than MS Reader for reading in general.

:) Ok I have the book on a sd card it works on my Axim x5 when I put the sd card in my wifes sd slot the book comes up in her reader but it wont open.
 As for the HTML code stuff I have no idea what that is or how to do it or what Convert LIT is
