In another thread I started the other day, I noted that I'd done the ROM upgrade over the weekend, and now I can't access the Web or e-mail with my Socket CF card. The Socket icon shows that I'm connected to my network with a strong signal, but I can't get anywhere.

I e-mailed Socket's tech support, and this was the reply:

<< We are running into this problem as well. We are working with Dell to see what changes are made to the system after their rom update as it is causing some problems for our customers. I will notify you as soon as we have more information on the problem. >>

Just an FYI for you Socket owners. Hopefully this tech person will get back to me, and I'll post an update on this situation as soon as I have one.

(Has anyone else experienced this same post-ROM-update snag?)
