Based on the various threads recommending FairUse for video encoding I thought I would give it a try. I used the LE version essentially in auto mode. I used FU to encode Mystery Men to 250kb with 128 bit mp3 audio and Midway to 300 mb and 128 bit mp3 audio. In both instances the video looks great, but there was a lag behind audio which progressed over the course of the movie in Betaplayer unstable. When I played the AVI files in WMP on my computer the audio and video are still out of sync. Last night I tried it again with That Thing You Do, but used Ogg format for the audio at 128 bit. Both video and audio are in synch in Betaplayer. Has anyone else had trouble with mp3 audio out of sync with video?
