I got my replacement Axim which has the PXA255 CPU to replace my PXA250. With the PXA250, I encoded divx videos at 320x240 landscape @ 15fps with a bitrate of 225kbps (video and audio combined)...

Seeing as how people say the PXA255 is faster, especially for video, could the PXA255 handle a higher bitrate video thus resulting in better quality? I'm reluctant to try since I don't want to waste my time if someone else knows the answer.

FYI: If I recall, the Pocket TV guys said a PXA255 300Mhz is 20% faster than a PXA250 400MHz at video...but I'm not positive, and I think they were talking about MPEG1 video, not divx...
