Absolutely, I have an Axim X5 and there is a "huge" difference. It makes it different to even then about returning to a QVGA device. However, I do not know about the displays on the newer QVGA devices like the X50.

last question. . . displayiing a standard screen on the VGA screen will not look as good as a screen made for VGA? So I should get SVGA screens if I want to run in true VGA mode, QVGA if running in normal mode, and should stay away from standard screens (because they won't take advantage of the VGA screen similar to how some programs don't look right)?
