The exact same thing happend to me. After I uploaded the video (using Media player on my PC) I couldn't get sound out of the PPC video. I closed all running programs and then went to Start--->setting-->sound options. Low and behold all the audio options were unclicked for some reason. Checked back all the boxes and the sound was all good :D .
If that fails a soft reset couldn't hurt.
If that fail microsoft has pages on its support site.
