I have a hauppage pci card that is about 8 years old and I am able to stream video from the card using windows media encoder. You should check hauppage's site for an updated driver. I have used the card in three different pc's and have always gotten the lastest driver from there site when installing in a new pc.

Well I downloaded the latest wdm driver from them and re-installed it all following the instructions... managed to finally get the encoder to see the video and even stream it successfully! Only trouble is that it has now stopped working and after repeated re-installs of the wdm it is giving varied results from not working to almost working and usually ends up freezing the media encoder prog..
Must be something to do with my own pc I think.. some kind of instability.. I will look into and perservere and eventually sort it out now that I know for sure that it can work..
