Where would I see tearing? I did not notice tearing but i really only ran your 5e files. I have not watched any movies with PocketTV. Is there a file and a particulr moment that I should look for?

With the A01 ROM, you can see of lot of tearing with both Betaplayer and PocketTV, on this test sequence.
Tearing is more visible when you have very fast motion, like in the part where the blue police car makes a U-turn.
Tearing is caused when the device displays part of a frame in the top of the screen (i mean, top if you look in Portrait orientation), and part of another frame in the bottom of the screen, and that happens because of an incorrect syncronization between the frame display (called frame flipping, because it's a "flip" between two video surfaces) and the screen vertical refresh. This synchronization problem is supposed to be fixed in the A02 ROM.
