I agree. Of course, this is very subjective. I know people that have been happy with a movie that would fit on a 128 MB memory card. Personally, I try to convert most movies at 484 MB. The only ones that are a little less ideal for me are the 3 hour movies (i.e. Lord of the Rings series). Then, if the movie is in full-screen, they need a little more memory for my taste. Anyway, I think the 242 MB mark for a two-hour movie at a 96kbps audio bit rate is a good place to start for most people. Just another two cents...

Plus, once you convert using a higher file size, it will be even harder to reduce the file size without you remembering how things could be using a larger file size. Then, you will have to get a bigger memory card. :)
