Is there a bluetooth adapter out there that anyone has been able to use successfully to replace the gomadic cable in this scenario? I want to be able to access the internet over my cell phone but the cable it's not always practical to have the cable handy.

Motorola recently came out with a gadget that attaches to some not so new phones for this purpose. I've been told it works, but you should visit Motorola for the list of phone models it's compatible with. Search for DC600.
