@PTV Team-What the hecks tearing? And I'm not trying to be facetious but cut the betaplayer chatter, okay? I mean its nice when you're working together but comparing the two products is like comparing apples and oranges.

Tearing is explained in post #107 above.
Tearing is a very common phenomenon that everyone familiar with playing video on mobile devices have experienced. It is basically caused by the lack of synchronization between the display vertical refresh and the video decoder.
We compare PocketTV and Betaplayer when it is relevant, i.e. with regard that both play MPEG video files, both are optimized for using the 2700G hardware accelerator to play in VGA on the x50v, and both are free for personal use. In this regard, there is sense in comparing them.
