I, in fact, have a number of apps I install to my SD card to A)free up onboard memory and B)leave the CF slot available for my modem card or my WiFi card. Works like a charm. Now, installing programs to the Built-in Storage (that extra ROM area not used by the operating system) is an iffy deal. It's VERY slow and quite a number of programs just don't work if you install them there. Which is why I think it's pretty much useless....another soapbox for another day.
