Not Windows Media, GS Player.
I just tried with no running apps, work no problem.
Tried with GSPlayer (which I almost always have loaded) and it shuts the screen off, I'm surprised I haven't noticed this before (that I am running GSPlayer in the background).

As for calling Dell Tech Support, they only suggest one thing, hard reset in all cases :(
