I went the opposite way...I went FROM SPB Socket Plus to Magic Button. The price is right, and quite honestly, the battery icon and taskbar switching options are great.
The only thing I missed from SPB Socket Plus was a soft reset button, which was quickly provided (free) by psshutxp.
