Need Info on Compact Flash "wired" network card

I have recently acquired a new X50, so far so good, and thanks to this site the cradle is still in the box and my USP port is still working. Now I need a little more hands on advice. I need to be able to connect the X50 to "hard wired" networks from time to time, I have been looking at the Trendware TE-CF100 CompactFlash 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Adapter. All information that I have been able to acquire indicates that it works with Windows CE 2.0 or newer and supports synchronization from Microsoft Windows 95/98/98Me/2000 and Windows NT 4.0. OK so Mobile 2003 is newer, but does it work with it? Can you fudge the sync and use Windows XP, that one I can slide on, I can always hook up to a Win 98 system to get the drivers transferred if necessary.
Has anybody had any experience with this application, or with the Hawkings network card of the same nature.

Any ideas and advice will be greatly appreciated, TIA
