First: Try a
Soft Reset.

Second: UNinstall whatever ASync is on your PC > Reboot PC > INstall ASync 3.8

that don't work--
Third: Do a "
Fake" Hard Reset; Press Reset + Power to instigate a Hard Reset > When it asks you if you really wanna do it > Press the indicated Hard Button to Cancel > Axim will go through the Setup Screens, but you will not have lost anything loaded > Soft Reset > and try ASyncing again.
