happened to me before ...had to softreset...
is your switcher bar on? after testing it abit... i tot it was the switcher bar that was causing the prob...never encounter with swicther bar off (in fact i think my axim was always more stable with swicther bar off)...
i deactivated swicther bar and used icbar. Works smoothly and i never had the same prob since.
