yes it has been seen. basically there isn't enough power in a standard usb port to charge and use the x50 at the same time. I assume you are using an aftermarket usb cable? Some of them say they can do both but in order to charge the x50 you need almost twice what the usb port is capable of supplying. You might try turning the brightness all the way down to where you can just see it but I bet it still will flicker. that may be harmful to the x50. If the battery is below somthing like 65% it may actually discharge instead of charge until you turn it off. do a search on the site and you will find a lot of info about this.
