Sure you can! Just go to "File/Open File", then select your directory, create playlists, whatever. I have 14 directories of mp3's and do this daily with GSPlayer.

ValkyrieRider, can you provide more detail about how to create playlist in GSPlayer? Example, I have 100 mp3 files in a directory "top 100 2004" on a cf card. In GSPlayer 2.21, if I do File/Open File, and click on the directory "top 100 2004", I can see all the 100 files there. What do I do next to create a playlist?
