I've seen this problem reported all over, no one ever found a solution.

This might fix a lot of things when activesync is behaving badly and NOTHING seems to fix it.

On your PPC, browse into the windows directory. Find a file called WCELOAD

and delete the little f*cker.

I totally rock for finding this. I think Dell ought to give me a new Axim. I'm serious.
