If you open outlook you should get a message similar to "Outlook is not your default email provider, do you wish to change this?" If you say yes, it will make outlook check your email by default. To transfer your stuff from outlook express to outlook, just use the import function under the File menu in outlook. Any version of outlook will work with win98se.
