Alright! With the help of the posts above and a few others, I was able to set up my Gmail and my Yahoo both as POP3 on my Axim so that I can work offline. Great! I can now send email from my Axim with a "Yahoo" or "gmail" from.

Again on Yahoo: I use Yahoo.ca, not .com. The settings for the POP3 on the PDA are as straight forward as they come (check here:'http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/context/context-36.html'),

The exception that you need to know to select "Outgoing email need authentification". Other than that it is PERFECT! :) It does an actual SYNC, which is very convenient.

On the other hand, Gmail doesn't rate at perfect yet. It seems that I'm having the smae problem everybody is having with the deleting the content of the Inbox upon a sync. I created a non-synced folder to handle this problem temporarily. Of course, deleting an email in the Inbox doesn't delete on the Gmail servers... Well, it's still cool that it's Gmail!
