I've tried a .3gp file from a Siemens phone but the playback on BetaPlayer is very poor - it doesn't seem to handle the format very well. Also, as mentioned above, there isn't any sound. I've read elsewhere that there are converters available to change .3gp to .mov (for example) but it's not the most ideal situation!
