I've been happy, even on my X50v, running FairUse in such a way that it makes 250 MB movies with 80kps sound.
Is there pixelation from time to time? Yes. Does it seriously hamper my enjoyment of the movie? No.
Give it a shot and see what you think. If you want higher quality, keep bumping up the size.
