Yeah, I know. Therefore, logically, the pixelation on a X50v would be worse than on a X30 at the same level of compression.
I don't need "perfect" movies, but I need enough clarity that the pixelation doesn't bug me.
You're going to need to try various settings to see what you need.
Some folks need to compress a movie to 700 MB to be happy...not me. I'd rather carry 3 full movies in that 700 MB space (well, 750) than one gigantic movie.
