I really apologize for my laziness, see below:
From Pocket Facelift FAQ's
1. Screen is showing hatched pattern after some time
This is not a bug, this is just a limitation of the trial version (appears after ap. 30 min.). The full version will always show the theme. You can restart facelift to show the background again. time
I should've looked a little harder first...
