That message was what people got when they tried to install in BIS with version 2.3.
I hope some brave soul gives it a go in BIS.
We just have to watch for another "I can't Activate MS Reader" post I guess.

No. V 2.3 was pre-installed in the Windows folder and it still would not Activate.
I deleted 2.3 using Remove Programs and I have now installed the new v 2.4 in Main Memory (the Windows folder), Activated it successfully and transferred it to BIS using Resco Explorer 2003 cut and paste. I also transferred the two small files msreader-exe-manifest.sig (804 bytes) and msreader-exe.sig (244 bytes) to BIS. MS Reader remains Activated and runs perfectly.
I have also noticed another peculiarity. When 2.4 was in Windows, the back and forward arrows beside the page numbers were represented by the numerals 3 and 4 respectively (
very peculiar, v 2.3 did exactly the same). But on transferring it to BIS the arrows sumbols are now correctly represented. :approve:
