While it would be fantastic if it were true, I haven't heard anyone else who had used the beta mention the same thing. And the screenshots of the memory usage don't support the claim since it clearly shows part of "main" memory as being used for storage, unless it means the flash part. Once I see that one can move the memory usage slider so that memory usage for storage is zero, then I would be convinced.
Palms are moving to this split memory configuration (NVFS) with some of their recent devices and I see no reason PPC can't do it.
