One sentance that has me worried is this:
One of the most significant changes to Windows Mobile 2005 is one many users might not even notice.
Currently, Pocket PCs use RAM for both storage and to hold currently running applications. In the upcoming version, RAM will only be used for running applications. Flash ROM is where all application and file storage will happen.
As far as I understand, this sort of change sounds like something that might not be compatible with older devices. Or am I wrong?

Thats good news for people with newer devices with larger roms and bad news for users of older devices.
now the 64mb ram on the x50v makes sense, if it is all free for running programs then thats plenty! (assuming the new O/S isnt a resource hog :) ) i wonder if many of the current apps will be compatible with this new arrangement?
