My old (eBay'd it) Apple AP was set up like that. I had it connected to a 5-port switch and the switch connected to a Linksys single port router then to the DSL modem. Chain of Fools.

I sold all that for the Linksys BEFW11S4 and loved my decision. I still have a Linksys 8-port switch for more ports.
