I have Laridian PocketBible and Pocket e-Sword on my Axim. I used to have Laridian MyBible and OliveTree on my Palm.
I should have downloaded Pocket e-Sword before I purchased all those bibles, commentaries, and dictionaries from Laridian. e-Sword is slower, but it's easier to navigate and more intuitive than PocketBible. I actually prefer Laridian's MyBible for the Palm over any of these programs as a pure bible reader, but it's not available for the PPC, and it doesn't read commentaries and dictionaries. OliveTree was a good overall program, but I don't need a 3rd program for my PPC, and the Palm version was unstable.
I recommend downloading Pocket e-Sword before you go out and buy Laridian PocketBible. The thing that's really missing from e-Sword is the NIV. If you need NIV, then you should pick either Laridian or OliveTree, but you can still use e-Sword for all the other bibles. One program I really like from Laridian is the Memorize program for learning scripture. I recommend that one no what which bible reader you get. It integrates with any Laridian bibles that you have, so that might be a consideration if you want to memorize scripture.
