I am doing pass through using a cradle right now at my work. I had to set up a proxy server and supply ID and password to get it to work. I have no trouble use DNS. I suspect that when I get home I will have to uncheck proxy server to get surf. At home, I use ActiveSync with WIFI and just leave my cradle at work (may get another one later).

It seems like you should be able to add other connections that have separate settings but I have had trouble getting it to work reliably. I end up doing a soft reset or going into ActiveSync and specifying a different partnership and things work again.

So, not much ideas on a solution for you but I did want to confirm that it does work once set up.

BTW, I have PocketWeather and to get it to update getting weather info from internet, I had to configure it to use a proxy server independent of what I did via Connections.
