i plugged mine in and it worked...no setup. I know this doesnt help you besides letting you know its possible. I didnt have to change any settings in the axim or activesync...perhaps a new activesync version will fix this? (the newest is 3.8 i believe and what i use). But yeah, sounds like a dns issue to me on your end....
