I tried that, I use a laptop and the only place I could find anything was under Internet Options ---> Connections ---> LAN settings. The second box is checked and an address is filled in below (different form the one the IT guy gave me when I asked him. And the box for proxy server is NOT checked.
Is there somewhere else where I could find the porxy server address?

Are you talking about the box that says" Use Automatic Configuration Script"
or the box under Use Proxy?
