To convert mp3 to wma, first get songs in a playlist for WMP on pc.
Open menu on left side of player and pick Copy to CD or Device.
If you have ax docked, destination shown on right panel can be navigated to memory cards etc.
Set quality of copy under Tool, Options, Copy Music. I use Variable bit-rate, second notch from the left.
OK that and select tracks to copy. Hit Copy and it happens.
Warning ... do not use this method with destination set to your sync folder, unless ax is not docked.
If you copy to sync folder, only dock after all tracks are copied and finished. Bad copies (can) result if unit is docked and set for continuous sync while tracks are being processed.
