PocketTV plays MPG files quite handily. And it's free. :approve:

I've had success taking broadcast TV video recorded on my computer, converting it to MPG with settings appropriate for the Pocket PC, transferring the file, and playing it back full-screen on my Axim X30 high. The video is of good quality and playback is smooth. It's cool.

Storage space is a factor for longer programs ... A 30-minute TV show uses about 75 megs of memory on my storage card (which fortunately holds 512 megs).
