I came up with a new way to test screen alignment. At least I think it's new. Start up any drawing or scratch pad program and simply draw straight lines across the screen horizontally and vertically or vertically. Try it with light medium and then heavy pressure. Also just try tapping dotted lines across the screen also. You might be surprised. My x50v didn't do very well especially in the upper left corner. Currently I'm not able to remove the screen protection nor can I post the pix of my tests but if someelse is able to do this lets take a look and we'll compare notes.

I tried this and it followed my somewhat shaky hand perfectly. I don't remember the last time I have had to align, maybe the last hard reset a month or so ago. Also I am using a screen protector and if i had to bet, there is plenty of dirt under the edge of the screen. my luck I guess.
