I have been doing this for the past 2 years. Until I found out that the OS manager the memory by it self . I found that out, when I was doing an address search in Mapopolis. The memory was going from 60% free to 0%, then back to 60% to 0%, etc. So I looked at the slider bar in action, and it will decrease the size of storage as needed. No need to play with the slider. :D
