I don't have a Wireless router. Can I use a Wireless G adapter on my Dell PC when it is turned on to connect my x50v to my Cable Internet connection through the PC? Can I use it to access files on my PC?

I tried setting my PC to share Internet, but it gives me a IP address conflict error. Has anyone here tried any of this?
